The ultimate street kit with racing technology!
D2 Super Sport is basically our Super Racing damper with external reservoir, but with two-way adjustment (compression and rebound) but with spring setup, length of stroke and damping curves adapted for street. Comfort and compliance are watchwords when D2 has developed this coilover, but when you start pushing the car, the racing legacy is there - a VERY competent and street-ready setup with the ability to adjust balance and aggressiveness for different driving cases.
D2 Super Sport is the obvious choice for those who want to be able to drive trackdays, or drifting with your utility car. Here you don't bounce around on the road like you do with a racing kit! We are always equally impressed with the results of this affordable setup – whether you're driving street tires or much more gripping R-compound tires or combining these.
This setup gives so much grip that the limitations are almost always in the tires. Harder spring setup gives poorer grip on the street/ track if you do not have real UHP tires of the highest quality type Pirelli P-Zero or Michelin Pilot Sport, or good R-tires of course.
This Super Sport kit is designed for those who want to use your car for many different applications and therefore need generous adjustment possibilities. Super Sport kit has about 1-3kg/mm harder spring stiffness and 60-150% harder shock absorbers than D2 street kit. You have two adjustment screws on the shock absorbers, one adjusts the compression (24 levels) and the other adjusts the rebound in 36 levels.
Compression and rebound can be adjusted separately with these and it together allows for a total of 864 different settings! It is possible to upgrade to 3 way adjustment of the shock absorber, low speed/high speed and rebound, contact us for price suggestions on this.
Both adjusting screws have clear click modes, which makes it easy to know where you are when adjusting it. The height of the coilover can be adjusted steplessly by adjusting the lower hub, providing a perfect reconciliation between the spring and the shock absorber regardless of the height of the car (unlike coilovers where the height is adjusted on the spring). This also allows you to make a corner weight on your car.
The Super Sport coilover kit features the top mount from the racing kits which means a traditional pillowball construction that gives a distinct feel to the steering. You can adjust all four shock absorbers individually. This, together with the fact that you can adjust the compression separately, gives you more opportunity to balance over and understeer your car than you can with a one-way adjustable shock absorber.
You can have a normal mode that you easily can adjust harder if necessary. The height can be adjusted steplessly by threading the lower mounts up or down on the shock absorber body. This provides a perfect reconciliation between the spring and the shock absorber no matter what height you have on the car (unlike coilovers where the height is adjusted on the spring).
Top Mounts:
(P): On cars with McPherson front legs, there is usually a camber adjustable top storage. You can usually buy a 3D top storage with camber and caster adjustment. See related items, add this top mount 3D to the cart if you wish this selection. (NOTE: This only works for cars that have McPherson top storage; "P")
(A): This design is considered to be the best front car design on cars, but is also more expensive to manufacture. Therefore, it is not so common on standard cars. The Camber angle is adjusted only on the link arm and not up in the top mount.
(OE): Some car models have a special design in the top mount which force D2 to adapt its top mount to the car's design, this one (OE) then lacks camber adjustment. See which top mount that is available for your model under the specifications (you can see them under the Add to Cart button).

We are very proud of all the achievements we have achieved with our D2 kit since 2006. Especially in recent years, we dare say that we have dominated the Time Attack series. For several years we have had first place in the PRO class (fastest class with R-tires) with Robin Antonsson's fast Toyota Supra (Super Race coilovers and D2 brake kit). Not only first place but also second and third place we have for several years been held by Joakim Birgersson's fast BMW E90 (Super Race coilovers and D2 brake kit) and with Team Japtunings cars (Super Race coilovers and D2 brake kits).
A few years ago we also made an entrance in the highest series Unlimited where few restrictions exist and the cars run on slicks. Result? First place with Team Wiborg's Mitsubishi EVO 6 (Super Race coilovers and D2 brake kit) breaking several course records in Sweden, how about 1.12.625 around Mantorp? For Team Wiborg's later fully tube frame-built car, the choice was again D2's Super Racing coilovers D2 Brake Kit with the new Hollow brake caliper! This car also set a new track record at Mantorp, how about 1:09:92!!!
